Refund Policy – Data Experts 360

About this Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which Data Experts 360 may issue a refund to clients in relation to our IT consulting, software development, Agri Tech development, Project Management, Statistics Analyses, and digital services. By engaging with us, you agree to this policy as part of our overall Terms of Service.

This policy applies to all invoiced amounts issued electronically under our E-Billing system. All transactions and associated credits or refunds are processed digitally in accordance with our E-Billing Policy and the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth).

General Principle

Due to the bespoke and labor-intensive nature of our services, all payments made are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed to in writing or required by applicable law (Australian Consumer Law).

Non-Refundable Charges

  • Initial consultation, project scoping, or planning sessions
  • Project initiation and setup fees
  • Partial or progressive milestone payments
  • Completed design (UI/UX) work
  • Software or web development work already commenced or delivered
  • Third-party fees (plugins, domains, hosting, licensing)
  • Technical support or admin fees already rendered

Pre-Commencement Cancellations

Clients may cancel a project prior to commencement. In such cases:

  • A partial refund may be issued, excluding administrative/setup charges
  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via the client’s assigned account manager or to hi@dataexperts360.com

Delays in Delivery

Delays caused by client-side issues (e.g., non-responsiveness, missing assets) do not entitle the client to a refund. Delays due to internal issues may be reviewed, and partial credit or refund may be issued at our sole discretion.

Bugs and Defects

Programming errors or technical bugs found within a reasonable timeframe will be corrected at no cost. However, such corrections do not qualify for a refund.

Digital Products and Licenses

All digital licenses, subscriptions, and downloadable products purchased on your behalf are non-refundable once provisioned or activated, regardless of usage or satisfaction.

Project Abandonment

A project will be marked as abandoned if a client:

  • Remains unresponsive for 30+ consecutive days
  • Fails to provide key deliverables or responses needed to proceed

In such cases, no refund will be issued. Reactivation may be offered with a separate fee and re-onboarding plan.

Refund Processing (If Applicable)

In the rare event that a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed within 15 business days
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method or as account credit
  • All refund decisions are final and non-negotiable

This policy forms part of our full Terms of Service and is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
